We are seeking a highly experienced and results-driven Production Manager-Piggery & Poultry to Oversee and lead our Piggery and Poultry Operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving farm productivity, ensuring best practices in animal production, and managing a diverse farm workforce. Key Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and supervise daily piggery and poultry production activities.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve productivity, efficiency, and animal welfare.
- Ensure compliance with biosecurity, animal health, and food safety standards.
- Manage and mentor farm supervisors and staff, fostering teamwork and accountability.
- Monitor production performance, prepare reports, and recommend improvements.
- Oversee feed management, breeding programs, and disease control measures.
- Coordinate with suppliers, veterinarians, and management to achieve production targets.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in agriculture, Animal Production, Animal Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years post-degree experience in animal production.
- Specialized, hands-on experience in piggery and poultry production.
- At least 3 years’ experience in a mid-level or senior managerial role.
- Strong leadership, planning, and people-management skills.
- Proven ability to lead a diverse team and drive farm productivity.
- Practical understanding of modern pig and poultry production systems.
